Blue Screens afters new RAM/GPU

HI

was hoping someone could help, I just got a new pc at work, I added a old geforce 7400 or something and a 1GB of ram. Now it ramdomly restarts especially when I try to install. Any ideas would be great!

Sorry it doesnt just restart, they are bluescreen serious system errors

Have you tried running memtest?

no do i do this in dos? what the command?

It can be run from a dos bootable floppy, or you could burn a linux ISO DVD and boot from that.

i had 800mhz + 667 think that was thhe issue
