DVD Flick is a fantastic free video to DVD converter.

Nice! I downloaded and installed this after reading your post, and I have to say I'm very impressed. Extremely intuitive, fast, multi-threaded, and comprehensive context-sensitive help...

It's better than pretty much anything I've tried, paid for or not. I'm keeping it. GPL software wins again!

Aye, the "easter egg" while encoding is a nice suprise too! :)

Yeah it was a nice touch :D Is there any way to alter the way it uses folders though? I noticed it dumps everything (on Win7) under C:\Users\(me)\Documents\dvd\

It leaves a lot of logs, a second dvd folder with the vobs, and a further ISO in the main folder. A little wasteful and messy, but hardly the end of the world. A "preferences" button would have been nice, but one can't complain considering!
