Note: I know these topics are all over the place and are annoying, but I ask here because I have nobody in real life I can discuss this with, or even on MSN. :)

I've been inspecting components for a new PC for a while now. This is what I've come up with so far...

I am unsure about the graphics card. I play games @ 1400 x 900. It may be wise to spend an extra £100 on a graphics card, just to future-proof the system some more, perhaps an ATI HD 5800 series card?

Anything you think I need to change or consider with this potential build?

Id say, go for Kennys RAM and HDD (or maybe an F3) but stick with your mobo, either get the 4890 or if you want wait n see about 5850/5870 maybe, with the money you save sticking with the UD3R

Both are excellent spec systems. The only thing that shouts out to me is changed that 4870 for a 4890 for hardly anything at all. Also the HD , I can only recommend WD and Samsung personally.

I got caught up in the Seagate firmware fiasco and wont be buying another any time soon.
