I hate electric shavers, used to shave with one all the time, then decided to wet shave. Never looked back. Ive tried allsorts of electrics (latest one was the washable gilette one that took the gel cartridges) still felt I was shaving with wet'n'dry sandpaper. Now its wet all the way! Smoother, kinder, and quicker.

I pluck all my facial hair. Takes about 3 hours each time but its well worth it as it lasts a long time. Just drink a bit first and you dont feel the pain.

Its useful to have both wet and electric shavers. An electric shaver will never be able to give as close a shave as wet shaving, however they can be useful to just top up a shave in the evening, or even just shave when in a rush.

We should have a Sticky on this.

I've been electric shaving for 35 years and tried all the major brands.
All I can say is -

Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun Braun

And you don't have to spend a fortune either.
