Hi folks! This is my rig -
AMD64 Dual core 4400+
2GB RAM
1 x 80GB SEAGATE HDD
1 x 250GB WD HDD
Asus A8nSLi mobo (not deluxe or premium)
Gigabyte nvidia geforce 8800 GTS with full HDTV/HDCP
So far I have the machine hooked up to my 32 HDTV via DVI to HDMI. Everything seems to work fine although have to tweak the display now and again to make sure everything is fitting onto the screen. Video (normal) playback also seems to be fine.
Question is, if I upgrade with a blu ray drive will there be any performance issues during blu ray disc playback i.e. skipping, stuttering?
EDIT: Forgot to add, I have used Blu Ray advisor on the machine and the only thing it complains about is the blu ray drive and playback software not being present.
