Spec me a £600 beast

Good morning all,

A friend of mine has found some money and wants to upgrade his machine.

He is a vivid gamer but he is also a developer so would like a machine that can compile very well etc.. (i7 / i5 would be best for that, if price allows)

So, spec me a PC!

what does he need, is it just processor/mobo and memory ?

Sorry, forget to mention that it needs to be the WHOLE thing.

So case, psu etc etc.

hmmm i'd replace the graphics card with a 4870 and get a phenom quad core instead
