Hi to all who are fans of the Strongmen competitions.

This year it was held in Malta and was apparently a really really good venue and set of events. From what i've read the Brits really seem to have done well and in the top ten we had 2 people. So a good day for the Brits.

For those who want to know the standing. Just highlight below:

Savickas (Lithuania) - 58
Pudzianowski (Poland) - 53
Shaw (USA) - 49
Poundstone (USA) - 46
Ortmayer (USA) - 45.5
Hollands (UK) - 41
Pfister (USA) - 29.5
Ostlund (USA) - 25
Shahlei (UK) - 24.5
LPJ - 13.5

Should be an interesting event to watch this Christmas.

I'm glad Felix wasn't one of them... can't stand him.

While i partly agree, he's a fantastic deadlifter.

Im just gutted Jimmy Marku wasn't there would have probably given us a little better placing (Brits). I've been following it from the qualifiers and Big Z was apparently one of the expected to win guys then! 385 monster he was. Not bad considering his injury a few years back everyone thought he'd never lift again!

I personally wanted Pudzianowski to win, he's the "look" of the Worlds Strongest Man imo

Oh no denying he's unbelievably good - but there' just something about his persona that I just don't like.

I agree about Marku, I'd have loved to have seen him there.

Pudz has won it enough times to still be around for a few years yet - though I agree he is absolutely collosal.
