Sometimes when I start my machine, the display is oddly dark once in Windows.
I've found that Vista is sometimes resetting the gamma to a strange setting that I have never set.
If I open something like the Videos and colors options from ATI Tray tools and go to the colour settings, it resets to the normal. By the looks of it, Windows is setting something like 0.8 sometimes when it starts.
A reboot fixes it, or going into some sort of gamma adjustment program.
Any ideas or anyone else seen this?
