Ati 5870 blank screen

Hi guys, just want to say how great the site is and I have been buying off here for few years now!

But, I've just bought the "Ultima Vanquish" system and after plugging in the usuals in the back im presented with a blank screen.

So I changed over the graphics card first to my old 8800gt and it boots up just fine then... Can anybody shed some light? Is it the card (Ati 5870) or the PSU not supplying enough power?

Its a Corsair 650W

The PSU will be more than enough, but it does seem like a faulty gpu as you tried your old card.

Post a note in the customer forum below, as the unit is still under warranty and hopefully Ocuk should help.

While im waiting for a reply, does anyone else have a few ideas I could try out?

if you have a mate that will allow you to test your new gpu on their system, that will also shed some light.
