Keeping with the retro theme of my last new camera; http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18060508 I now am the proud owner of a.... drumroll.........

Nikon F2

What a cool little camera. It feels so well built, and the shutter release has a real solid "cerchunk!". It's missing the battery door, so I'll need to find a replacement and some batteries before I can give it a spin, but at least it looks cool in my camera cupboard. I have a feeling I'm slowly turning into a camera collector. Let's hope I stick with Nikon/Large format kit, and don't venture over to Leica/Hasselblad or similar.

Good work chief! Looks nicer than my FM2n, and in better condition as well. May I ask how much it cost you?

The FM2N is much nicer IMHO. You have the standard or special edition?

The picture isn't of my actual one (grabbed the pic off the net). But mine isn't in bad condition. Has a few skuff marks, a small dent in the edge of the top plate and needs a good clean. Other than that it works fine. And the best bit, just like my other camera it cost me....... nothing.
