Not 'down' per se, but the game I was downloading (Saints Row 2) has stalled on "Starting download..." for the past half an hour after getting to 20%

EDIT: I take it all back, 100%, launching game

Mine is down.. just sits on the "[email protected] is connecting to Steam" splash.

Worked fine yesterday. !!! Grr...

I think it's changed IP and you need your dns to update:

run a command prompt (as admin on vista/7)

ipconfig /flushdns

then

ipconfig /registerdns

Fixed it for me.

My steam was playing up too yesterday. Took an age to start up and wouldnt let me play any games. Its ok now though.
