Hello all!

I was informed that the best cooler to go for these days is the Xigmatek. I do have a few questions though!

1. The difference between this:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-003-XG&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395
and
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-000-XG&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395

Is just the LEDs?

2. Is this the bracket kit for the S1283?
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-007-XG&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395

3. Can anyone tell me what is the advantage of using the bracket kit as opposed to just the standard pushpins?

4. Would the bracket kit fit into a P180 Antec case? Do I need to do any cutting or manual stuff? (I hope not cause Im not keen on it!).

5. Is the Thor heatsink (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-002-XG&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=1395) worth the extra 20 quid or so? Or is it just pure overkill?

Not looking to overclock massively, but would like to try it.

Finally, if anyone feels that the Xigmatek are not the way to go, please do feel free to give your opinions!

Much appreciated. TIA :)

The xigmatek is one sweet cooler.

Not sure about the bracket as mine was a different model number, although it seems OCuk has listed it as compatible.

PS I got the red scorpion which is nice but I've read the vanilla one is a little better in the cooling stakes.

The advantage of using a bracket is that it makes better contact with the cpu and therefore better cooling. The only cooler with pushpins ive used is stock coolers.
