Im about two days from finally taking the big step and ordering a gaming rig. Will only be used for gaming.
Just wondering if worth extra £70 or so for the 860?
I know it's future proof for the I9, and the 750 isn't. But reality is i will not change the CPU, and after a year or two, i will just buy a new rig like i always do.
So im wondering for Gaming performance for now & next year or so, will i really get a benefit from the 860 over 750.....
Only thing i will update is after christmas for the GPU. Im thinking of going the 4890 or GTX 275 route for now, then say January upgrade to the ATI 5870 when around £250 mark.
By then DX11 should be on majority of the game coming out from next year on.
So 750 or 860?
P.S a nice review of these two in game tests on a card would he handy, if anyone has a article
