I am about to order components for a new build system. Currently I have the following in basket:

XFX ATI Radeon HD 5850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card [HD-585A-ZNF7]
Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - Retail + Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Game [BV80605001911AP]
Asus P7P55D Pro Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard [90-MIB8X0-G0EAY00Z]
G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL) [F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL]
Coolermaster CM-690 Dominator Case - Black (No PSU) [CM-690]
Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502HJ) [HD502HJ]

I am looking for advise on which PSU to buy, It will need to be able to power the above with an additional 5850 which i may buy in the future. I expect i'm looking around the 750W mark being xfire compliant. Importantly I would like a supply that is in stock as i have a few days off. Please could i get your advise.

I also need to pick out an optical drive I hoped for the following:
Sony Optiarc AD-7240S 24x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM [
which is also out of stock, I have seen it elsewhere but would rather keep the order from one place so again would be interested in an alternative.

Please note the build is for gaming only. I will be using my existing system for all other mundane tasks.

I use a HX650W Corsair for pretty much the same spec as you've detailed above.

Anything in the 600-650W range from the likes of Seasonic, Corsair or OCZ is a solid choice.

A few of the parts i note are not in stock, the 5850 the g.skill ram and the sony optical drive.

Whats the standard will OC wait for all the parts and dispatch as one, or send what they can no with the rest to follow subject to availability?

They'll wait so they can send it all as one bundle.

You can call to request they be shipped seperately, but at your expense.
