The only thing that would concern me with this case is the bend radius of the cables with the top cover on-do they wut any strain on the mobo?
No, none at all.
The access to the 'back' of the motherboard is much improved over the Raven 1.
It is set deep, and the top cover is quite high. You can easily stick a usb dongle in there and have the cover on, or indeed use a vga-dvi adaptor.
Plugging in an extra usb cable to the back is easier than with a conventional case design, especially in 'pc under the desk' scenarios, no need to pull the case forward and get on your knees to clamber behind the case.
