My system spec is in my sig, is it worth me upgrading to a Quad Core AM2+ Quad system or not? I was thinking of getting an AMD Phenom II 810 chip. I was going to use my old ram and not go DDR3.

Thing is with my current rig it sometimes appears slow, If I use WINRAR then while it's in use the whole system is sluggish - perhaps 4 cores will help, gaming seems ok.

I was going for the 810 chip and the Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H AMD 785G motherboard. Then I was going to clock the chip to 3.0 gig+, am I better doing that or investing in a better motherboard than the Asus P5N-MX I currently have and trying to overclock my current chip more?

Advice appreciated.
