Just been given an Epox EP-8KHA+ motherboard with a AMD Thunderbird 1.2Ghz cpu+heatsink (god that thing is real Dark Ages stuff), anyway, wanted to ask a few questions.
Firstly, can anyone confirm the maximum AMD Athlon XP cpu that this board will take? From what I have seen it is a Athlon XP 2000+ (approx 1.67Ghz)
Secondly, how overclockable is the system? Will it be able to do 2Ghz or slightly higher?
Thirdly, maximum memory? Some reports I have seen say 3Gb DDR max, some say 1.5Gb max.
Fourthly, and I can't post a link to the card I found, but will an AGP 8x card work in a 4x slot? I have found an ATI Radeon HD4670 1Gb AGP 8x card.
Was thinking of putting a TV tuner card into the board and using it to as a dual HTPC and graphics machine, after maxing the ram and cpu.
