So far I have one over-riding main initial impression..

Time Crisis.

I completed it on xbox and held the same impression, but to be honest the controller was ruining any chance I had at enjoying the game. So i'm now playing it on PC to see if I can recover some of that COD4 magic.

Not sure if this has been posted but a comparison of this on the consoles and pc, does looks far superior on the pc.

And the sad part is, the graphics on the PC look dated while for the 360 it's about as good as it gets

I ****ing hate the new server management. The whole host migration is a comeplete farse, and I frequently get server timeouts, right near the end of a game.

Anyone else prefer the MW server style?!

Is anyone else finding it impossible to get rid of the Strict nat type on their O2 router? I've forwarded every port mentioned and then some :S

Odd am virtually at the end of the sp and i have been impressed with the gfx of the game.

They are good, but nothing amazing ... and nothing like what they could have looked had they made the game with DX11 - it certainly cost enough for them to spend money on making it in DX11

The game states that my router is set to Open. I have no idea what that means or how it got like that.

I am quite enjoying the MP. My connection is only 2meg and rather crap at that, but I always get green ping.

I did encounter a bug with IWnet earlier though, the game started, but before we all spawned the host left, at which point IWnet passed it over. After the new host was ready and the game started we were all stuck as spectors, the only way I found to get out of it was to re-select my class load out.

Other than that, no problems at all.

I didn't have to forward anything if that helps you.

I just tick upnp on my router& restart - states open on the mp menu which is the desirable state & mp much better now; there was a brief Steam update earlier & some people on the IW forums were reporting probs conncting to games

even with upnp enabled, and i've totally disabled the firewall, it's still saying nat is strict! this is doing my head in :confused:

Just finished the campaign, I was taking it slow since people said it was short, but damn, very short

Still! utterly amazing, not as good as MW1 imo but defo one of my fave SP experiences!
