is there a way to make a button at the start of a row

and when you click the button it will take data from that row, and instert that data in to cells on another excel sheet ?


i have a spreadsheet of clients and products they bought and want a way to click a button to generate an invoice

i have made an invoice template on sheet two.

and would like a button at the start of each row of cusomters, so i can choose when to make the invoice

It can be done with macros but what you really need is a database. Something like Access is ideal for this situation. Have you considered this?

yes i have thought about this and it would be the next option

at the moment, i was just trying to make a quick and easy option to use what i have.
