going by a tweet of Dave Johnston (Senior Level Designer, Splash Damage maker of De_dust) and and a couple of peeps I've asked confirmed this to be true that they closed down today , if anyone is interested . one more UK dev bites the dust

Sad news. I have fond memories of some of their best games. Didnt realise they were still around..

this is starting to get really depressing, as an industry ive been hoping to break into seems nigh on impossible now with all these developers getting closed

Aw, Core Design :/

Darkmere, Corporation - those guys made the Amiga great. Wonder if any of the guys who wrote that stuff were still there?

The british games industry is struggling and I I hope that those employees affected find re-employement quickly.

Anyone know what these guys did?

Did they work on the same projects as Oxofrd and Liverpool Studios?

As grim as it is, at least we are not talking about a british developer (A good one at that) going under.

Personally, I rate Rebellion better than Codemasters who nowadays produce nothing original and have not done since their 8 bit days.
