what do people think. planing to overclock the i7 to 4ghz , can people also suggest a case for £50 to go with this setup.

With that quality list, £50 for a case seems a bit low to me but it can be done!

My real question if you want to be pushing 4Ghz, what power supply you going to be using ?

All the parts above should do that speed :)

I dont recall what graphics card (s) you have, the power of that does sound a bit low for a 4Ghz clock if you need extra power (other than board connection) for the GPU.

It may work but it may be hard getting it stable on that, it may be worth just trying it first rather than just upgrading tho.

You can never have too big a PSU but you can sure waste allot of £'s in getting into a comfort zone!

I have an asas 4890 gpu. used this in my old amd 939 rig with the same power supply and it was ok. any suggestions on what power supply would work well with the i7, just in-case. I like the antec 300., used it when I built a mates rig a few months ago, just did not want to have the same case as him if I can get something as good or better but different.

I would see what you can get from the power supply before condeming, it may do fine!

It just seemed a low total power for such a big overclock, but as we all know not all quoted PSU rates are equall!
