I bought my computer back in August and I got Windows 7 Professional for students. Could someone please tell me why I could have more blue screens than on my previous computer? It sometimes happens after just turning it on, after an hour of gaming etc. Really it just does it whenever it feels like it.

First off check your system logs to see if there are noteworthy errors being shown there, secondly do you get a error code when it blue screens, if so what is it so that might shed some light on the issue as well.

Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > uncheck Automatically restart.

Use Microsoft Windows Debugger to view the dump files or if you can upload them here and i'll take a look.
