Borderlands ( single player question)

Was just wondering if this game is ok to play on your own ?
i sort of get the impression its more of a co-op game ?

is it an RPG ?

the only RPG game i liked was fallout3, am i likely to get on with this game ?

its only going on my rental list so no big loss if i dislike it really.

For rental.. Just get it and see. Some people love it others hate it!

just watched a video of it.
looked quite good really.

looks more like a first person shooter than an rpg though.

Yeah definitely more of a FPS. Has RPG elements, like loot collection and a small skill tree for each class of character.

Definitely worth playing though, think it's a cracking game. Online co-op is a lot more fun and you get better loot rewards too.

It is pretty big yeah. I wouldn't say quite on the scale of fallout.. but close

The map is big, but it is mainly full of nothing (driving time basically).

Game time wise, fallout 3 is bigger. Borderlands has lots of quests, but say you have 10 then by the time you do 4 the other 6 are greyed out as you have leveled too high for them.

It's pretty fun, starts quite slowly and can get a bit repetitive though.

Its like a simple wow meets fps do quests, get loot, skill up. repeat.

I just started playing this yesterday and its not bad seems like it might get a bit repetitive.
