It's going for around £600, I've done some research on it and it appears to be ok... would just like to hear some other opinions or ideas before i take the plunge. Any other screens i should be considering at this price point? Thanks in Advance :)

I've got the LH5000 37".

Yeah they are pretty decent TV's. The stands they come with are a little larger than most others, but sturdy as anything. I've wall mounted mine and it looks really nice and simple.

Speakers are just ok, nothing amazing at all. Just do the job of providing sound to the untrained ear. You can always buy some external gear and hook it up.

SD Picture quality is really good once you turn off every enhancement/aid, and lower the backlight to a low/moderate level. Out of the box, it just looks so bright and blurry. Only reacimena (24p) get used when watching blue ray to even out the framerate.

USB feature is pretty shabby though, and is difficult to get a nice picture. If you want this feature, the WD and other options would be far superior.

If it were me, id go LH2000/3000 and save yourself some cash. You'll loose some contrast ratio, but thats about it.

thanks for the advice

ive spotted a LG 42LH7000 for £700... i think im going to aim for this one. I was tempted by the 42LH3000 as its going for around £500.. but i really like the thin design of the LH7000 very easy to wall mount and i would rather one of the newer models with 100hz. Damn guys you havent made it easy for me ive already changed my mind multiple times... im quite set on the LH7000 though.. any reasons i shouldnt other than price?
