ram upgrade for old dell dimension 5150

Hi, i've had trouble in the past with trying to upgrade the ram in this system. I was recommended to try this from overclockers, but turned out to be incapatable...

Will it have to be Dell's own memory like this from the Dell site?

Why was the corsair memory incapatible? will either of these be any better?

Guess no one has any ideas!

In the end i went to the Crucial website and performed their memory test. Apparently their memory is usually successful on Dell machines, many other brands do not work, as i found out with the corsair memory i bought (same clock speed as the already installed memory and PC2-5300).

So, for cheap(er) ram for Dell machines, try Crucial... although of course this may not work either! Fingers crossed!!!
