Dx11 reverting back to Dx10.1 Fix

If your running a 5000 series card and after a reboot you can not run in dx11 you need this hotfix KB975243-x64. Worked for me and many others!

According to the Microsoft site, the error is only a reporting error in the DxDiag tool, and does not affect the hardware from actually running in DX11.

UKDTweak is right. It is a misreporting error only.

Your results for Heaven benhcmark in dx11 is the same before and after.

But when you restart the issue starts and dx11 wont run. I have been suffering from this issues since I got my card a week ago. Googled it and found other people with exactly the same issuse recomending this hot fix as it worked for them too.

Worked for me so only trying to help other people who may want to know.

Fair enough then and i apologise. i wasn't aware that it stopped some people running in dx11. It never did with me and most people.

Mine still says dx 10 now

it doesn't mate, it's more like driver issues that made dx11 stop working.
