Two questions about 42G15 I've just purchased...

Hi,

If I want to watch the full range of channels as part of my Sky subscription including the horse racing channel etc...am I forced to use the Sky box as the viewing card is required or can I somehow still use the built in freesat?

Also, if I cancel my Sky subscription can I still receive the 140 odd freesat channels?

Any channel that needs the viewing card needs the sky box, you can get all the freesat and all the other free to view channels with just the TV
