Now first off, I'm not stating who it is or rather if it's actually true but I received a txt stating it and to 'pass it on'

It's also on Yahoo Answers, and other forums which promptly deleted it.

Why do such things? I mean it's only going to hurt people, and should the worst happen he himself attacked (if true) then what does this mean for the whole process of new identities etc?

I think the papers are only adding fuel to the issue, and should leave it well alone.

The law which we have given ourselves has made this decision to give him and the other guy new identities as they have many other people. What positive does going after him like this show?

I'm in no way condoning what they did, but the law has taken its course yet people don't see it and what to go on a witch hunt!?

Thoughts?

If he goes to prison for whatever offence, then they will know his identity, and it will only be spread to the outside world. I would doubt the Justice dept would want to cough up cash to go through the whole process of renaming him again, surely.

8 years is not enough for what he did. I don't accept the sentence.

Also we've thrown money giving him a new identity and he still can't keep to the damn rules.

I don't see why we should bother again. I don't even consider the two of them human anymore. Let them fend for themselves.

This....hes had his chance and blown it simple as that...now if hes lets out and get attacked etc then i say fair dues as what comes around goes around.

Bulgers mum was right when she said after these 2 animals were locked up that he would re-offend and he has.

Lock him up and throw away the key...let the scumbag rot in prison.

Re-offend? How so? Serious question

I think that he's had he's chance, why pay more of our money to hide him again. While I dont agree with mob justice, maybe if these monsters were punished for what they did (instead of rewarded, 8 years of a better life than they would have had at home, and a new life) it wouldnt be an issue.

The human rights of the victims (and their families) should come first, but not in this country .

Well hes broken his new identity rules ie the ones that he agreed to when he was released...its obvious that its serious enough to warrant him being brought back to prison ie the crime which he has allegedly committed...papers reporting that its a sex crime.

He hasnt killed another kid but he has committed some sort of serious crime, which i guess is what Bulgers mother claimed that he would re-offend ie commit another crime.

Also read that Straw is considering letting the public know what and why hes been brought back to prison...which should be interesting to hear if he does decide that its in the publics interest to know.

Reading the article it seems to suggest that the crime(s) he comitted were due to a mental breakdown caused by carrying his secret. In which case I hope the baying mob are proud of what they have done... Having said that they won't care as they are essentially prehistoric animals...

Hasn't the other guy kept quiet though? If so it would seem he has learned his lesson?

Jon has had a 2nd chance at his life and he has blown it. He should go though the courts for his latest crimes, serve his time for that and any other time for breaching his agreement for his 2nd chance and then be turfed out onto the streets to fend for himself.

If the papers find out who he is then their will be no chance of a fair trial and we as tax payers will have to go through the expense of yet another identity or paying for round the clock protection.
