Haha, that's why I generally don't bother with forum meets any more. Most people just stand around by themselves and don't talk then when you do make an effort to talk to them, they look at you as if you have 15 heads. At least you talked back!

One of the other people I met at the 1st meet (bam0) works for the same company as me, and sometimes on the same site, I sometimes spot him in the canteen, sometimes.

I can't remember when we had the first Donnie Doo's but they must have been before some of us went to Spie's wedding. I just checked back through my photos and the first [OcUK] LAN at Rogers house was in May '02, which was before the wedding.

Met plenty of people back in the day at gaming events, Don meets and OcUK meets. Good times and will gladly buy anyone a drink should I meet them again

Reversed over Von Smallhausenm, well more reversed into and pinned against a wall

I had just bought a M3 and had only had it a day and wasn't used to the SMG ,was gving Von a lift but he was helping me get out of a parking space when I got reverse instead of 1st

Von dived behind car for some reason apparantly he was trying to stop me, good plan as a 1.5 tonne and 340bhp car is a doddle to stop

Yeh i used to stay on balcares street (at the station/crossroads). Was nearest place to me but I remember it as safeway!

I've not had an irn bru 'floater' since i was about 10!
