It wasnt that long ago Geil Ultra oem kits 2133Mhz @ 9-9-9-24 were being sold at around £75 using Elpida BBSE ic's.

What's so different about these to warrant this price tag?

I'm guessing their Eplida Hypers that you usually see running at 2000Mhz @ 8-8-8-24 being tweaked.

I think RAM manufactures/retailers are pushing the limit with RAM prices now? This is just getting a tad silly haha. Awesome RAM, but then again, Kingston, OCZ, Corsair, G.skill and more are all coming out with RAM at these specs if not better. If they all try charging this much they won't get very far. I'm guessing the price is only high due to Patriot being the first ones out with this high spec RAM...
