OCZ Vertex Series 30GB SSD

Guys ,

I have just purchased today this ;

OCZ Vertex Series 30GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive from OCUK.


When it arrived tomorrow will I have to update the firmware to get to work with a Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 or can i plug and play installing Windows & on it?

I got the 60gb version .
already had the most upto date bios ver.
not sure about your mobo but works fine with rampage 2
