Bike tyre quick Q

I need to replace the tyres on my GT Avalanche, current tyres are Kenda 26" 2.1
Im wanting to stick some semi slicks on there, would 1.95 fit ok and could anyone recommend some ?

I have Just put some continental travel contact tyre ( semi slicks) on mine today. They seem to have a good review
