What soundcard ?

Never used a SC as I always used beresford dac with coaxial output on Mboard.

I no longer have that setup, just using ae aego m's now. Thinking of buying another set and their centre speaker to give me 5.2 surround sound.

This is all for BF BC2 where the sound system is legendarily awesome.

Can anyone suggest a hi fidelity soundcard for this use, it needs to have rca outputs ideally, or atleast seperate 3.5mm jacks for front + centre + right and rear.

All my music is flac on foobar2k so need one that has great SNR and low THD.

Asus Sonar ??

I had a creative before with good results but I didnt notice much EAX effects in BF2 ?

Just got an Asus xonar D2X yesterday.

BFBC2 is now unbelievable rather than just awesome.

I would highly recommend it, it has 3.5mm connections but comes with 4 RCA to 3.5mm adapters.

The software that comes with it gives you a lot of freedom in setting up where your speakers are in your room and which is very handy to get the sound just right.
