just brought this card....Sparkle Calibre GeForce GTX 260 896MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail [X265/X265HM]

it states in the read up it has hdmi output,i cant find the hdmi socket?.

As you say, the description on the product page is incorrect (even in the picture there is no HMDI socket). Other e-tailers have it listed correctly.

Contact OcUK customer service directly and see what they can do for you, I'm sure a suitable resolution can be found.

Did you check the box to see if has a Dvi to Hdmi connector in it?

the only conectors are a dvi to vga and two molex converters,the monitor has vga and hdmi conecton .but will i still get 1080p with the vga input?

I think you can, but it would be analogue instead of digital.
