BIOS flashing

I've just picked up a quad and want to flash the BIOS on my mobo as there are known issues with the E0 stepping CPUs so I've been looking here for some advice. Now I know that I need to edit the runme.bat file as it is a beta BIOS that I want to use but I've no idea how I go about this, it talks about the EDIT command in Windows but I'm not sure how I get to this :confused:

Is it not just a simple case of opening the runme.bat in Notepad and editing the info there then saving it?

depending on your file associations in windows you can sometimes just right click on it and select 'Edit'. If not then just open the file in notepad and edit away. Be sure to save it as a *.bat file and not a *.bat.txt
