EDIT: what are you using for your taskbar? It appears to be split into segments...

(I noticed tint2 0.7 onwards has a built in systray, so no more need for trayer - woo!)

The task bar is indeed split into segments, left one is desktop 1, right is desktop 2. It's default with #! (Crunchbang) and the Openbox WM.

I do have a clock in the tray on the right, but I can't be bothered to find the right config file to edit and make it black text instead of white, hence using Conky to display the date and time.
