360-380 max? Of course even then it wouldn't be my first choice as there is no OC headroom.

I'd pay £250 for a GTX480, i wouldn't go any higher cause i'd need to budget £100 for a new PSU - i don't think my little 430w Seasonic would take too kindly to 480 lol.
the ones that bought 5870 6months ago haven't lost a thing, they had all that power and were enjoying it...
somehow i still hope that miracle will happen on moday when proper beches will be releasedbut if those that were flouting here tonight were right than that's a bad news for NV.
Why this reminds me the "8800GTX" era the night before ATI released the then "super-cards"?

Except the difference is that the 480 does actually outperform the 5870.

dont think my enermax 480 watt would handle it eather
Under the £500 mark but imo too much for a bit over 5870 performance.

Hmm, not quite as high as predicted, have already seen the Gainward one on a certain other site for under £430.

The prices and the benchmarks are pretty much as everyone predicted. And it won't be long until ATi refreshes their DX11 offerings. It's just a shame that the nVidia cards are overpriced and that ATi is still struggling to get their drivers right. Still, much better than the DX10 launch.
What settings would they be? Physx?
Role reversal, nVidia have been the ones struggling lately, ATi haven't been struggling for a long time.
