It wont go any lower because custom water cooling is expensive. You will also need fans to go onto the radiator which pushes the price up again. Why not just buy a high end air cooler? The Prolimatech looks good tall and thin.

Why coloured tubing and coloured fluid? Ditch the coloured fluid for De-ionised water (i got 2 litres in Asda today for 25p a litre!!) and use a additive such as PT Nuke.

That block is ridiculously overpriced on here. I just got the Acetal universal version elsewhere for the vat excluded price that OCUK charges on the one you picked.

For your cpu block id use this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-000-AQ&groupid=962&catid=1519&subcat=

For tubing either of these would be better http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-026-DD&groupid=962&catid=1530&subcat= or UV Blue http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-036-XS&groupid=962&catid=1530&subcat= id get 2 meters

For your pump and res id get the combo version here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-028-XS&groupid=962&catid=1522&subcat= that way it is already connected together

For an I7 cpu id recommend at least a 240.2 rad http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-021-XS

and to connect them all together you need 6 barbs http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-037-OK&groupid=962&catid=1529&subcat= with them being 1/2" barbs all you have to do is soften the hose slighlty in hot water and push on. No real need for hose clips as they seal tight as

All told this comes to £159.57 inc vat but not delivery.

if you don't want or need to watercool your gpu/mobo then stick with air cooling
or get a Corsair H50-1
or get second hand kit (from MM when you set up your trust - see the faq top left)

The whole point of watercooling is only for ultra quite (passive watercooling)
extreme day-to-day clocks on multi gpu rigs (to many hot bits next to each other)
or bling (and air can look amazing if done right).

For every thing else air cooling is better, cheaper, less hassle and doesn't restrict case choice.
Loads of member here are going back to air cooling.
As water cooling just doesn't give the same advantages as it use too, due to air cooler beeing soooooo much better in recent years.

I water cool because I like my pc to make next to no noise (silent freak) and still be OC'ed and run cool without any fans.
But most people would not consider what I've acheive value for money.
