Went out to [competitor] at Aintree earlier for some components, forgot is was grand national weekend.

**** *** annopying diversions and lots of moronic traffic.

At a lane closure a Highway Maintenance Transit pick-up saw me trundling down the empty lane and decided to block me. Then started waving all the traffic in the right lane past. None of them were on the ball, or maybe they all knew what a **** he was being. Either way I was on the ball and the **** left me just enough room to blast through on the left.

Been there, done that, had my boot searched by the police trying to get on to the retail park going to the same shop!

They have tonnes of cones lined up in the surrounding roads too, I guess there will be a lot of road closures tomorrow, or maybe its all just to stop parking/stopping.
