system speker

does anyone know, do you have to activate anything in the bios to get the system speaker to work ?
im on my 2nd speaker now and im still getting nothing from it

Are you sure you have the speaker connected to the correct pins on the motherboard and the right way round

The speaker is normally one of the first things checked during the POST process of the BIOS

yes its on the correct pins and the triangles are matched up
all i get from it is a click type sound, exactly the same as the first speaker i had yesterday
