Plymouth or Hendricks
What's with all the "lime" ****? if I recently asked for a G&T in my local bar and got a wedge of Lime .... WTF? it should be Lemon; they had no Lemon so I left it on the bar without paying.
Now, going back many years ...... Gin and Orange (undiluted cordial) was the thing; introduced it to quite a few people recently (male and female) and they all liked it .... one can use any Gin too, so cheaper.
Hendricks is definitely excellent stuff.
Crikey, not sure about that!Never tried Hendricks. I've checked the bottle out but it's rather expensive. Just looking at the wiki page and it reckons it should be drunk 50/50 gin/tonic?
Millers is the finest that I've had.
PLymouth / Bombay here, we find Gordons very harsh indeed. It has to be schweppes(sp?) for the tonic. Oh and yes we keep it in the freezer as well !
that's hilarious - you spat your dummy because they served you a G&T the way it is meant to be served and the way it tastes best, rather than the barstardisation that british pubs serve to avoid stocking more than one variety of citrus fruit. Good for you! You stick with your gin and squash
