I hear Itunes store is very good, as is Amazon for MP3s. Also, Iplayer, ITV player and 4OD do a rather good job with UK TV.

Lovefilm does a good film streaming service and I hear Netflix will be coming to the UK later this year.

binsearch.info - free and pretty poo
nzbmatrix.com - growing on me.

The above require a Server sub and a DL Client such as NewsLeecher.

I'm the same as mast3r, I use newsgroups

For any recent tv shows movies etc I use www.filesharingtalk.com, click on NZB's in the top right

I wouldn't call itunes quick... took me 40 minutes to download a 600MB file and I am on a 50Mb connection

www.demonoid.com happens to be very good.
Fileshare and megaupload is good for albums and films.
