install the driver or let windows do it?

just a random thought after reinstalling windows7 - my chip set is fully recognised with this type of hardware do you install the drivers or use windows? as the driver are from October 2009.

I ALWAYS install the drivers myself, if the CD you have for the software is out of date, visit the manufactures website, and download the latest ones and then install, that way you're 100% sure on what you've just installed.

OK i appreciate the comments, i do tend to update the latest, but the nvids for my chipset are october 2010
