ok just got a faulty gw300 for £8.60 worth a bash but i cant solve this. its orange, turns on, works all except it reading the sim card.
rang orange they reluctantly helped me because i wasn't a orange customer but confirmed it wasn't barred or locked in any way,
also ive noticed the y and z are reversed so the y types a z and visa versa,
thinking upgrading its software, but cant find a single thing on the internet about a gw300 not reading simcards!!!!
i was buying this phone this week any way and thought if all else fails its a good spares phone for screen case and keys @ £8.60 its worth that alone in spares, as i tend to break phones some how!!
