Is there anyone here good at working out projector throw distances for replacements??

Hi guys,

We need to replace a projector, and the bracket CANNOT be moved. Anyone here useful in working out the throw ratios etc, I cannot work out how it works!!

We have all the dimensions, and projector that I think will fit, but am really not sure!!

I might be missing something here but what is there to work out? Doesn't it just say the throw distance?

It does, but how do you equate throw distance to different sizes of required projector?

I have a ceiling bracket that is 407cm away from the screen, and a screen size of 130cm high x 217cm wide (width is variable, height is fixed)

I have spec'd a projector that has the following, that I think means it fits, but I need to be sure before I order it!

Zoom: Manual, 1.60:1
Throw Dist (m) : 1.6 - 10.1
Image Size (cm) : 76 - 762
