APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: within the next two weeks

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: light gaming ( wanna play Starcraft 2 when it comes out), full HD movies.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: integrated GPU, 365W PSU, had an old Ati X1300 but that bit the dust.

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: Mobo Intel 945G. 2GB DDR2 Ram. CPU Intel Pentium 4 521 processor 2.8GHz

OVERCLOCKING: No SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Thinking of upgrading CPU as well, there are plenty of second hand ones on ebay) Please suggest what processor too. Mobo can support Pentium D dual core from 915, 925, 930, 940 ,945 to 950.

basically got an old comp no one wanted so i thought id refurbish it and use it. want a new cpu n gpu. any suggestions?

^^ that.

wouldnt bother upgrading the cpu, might as well invest in a new motherboard, cpu and memory. Otherwise you'll be investing a lot of money for no real reason. Get the best out of what you have and leave, stick in a 4670 and leave it at that would by my suggestion :D
