How to copy music from ipod touch?

My boss e-mailed me today and says his itunes is buggered so he is trying to copy the songs back from his ipod touch to his PC. Is this possible?

Sharepod will do it, and it's a freebie.

Either that or just show hidden files -> Copy paste.

That said they come back off a lot worse quality wise. Also thinking about it I've no idea if that works on newer iPods.

It still works, quality is exactly the same unless you use that new setting to use 128kbps AAC copies of tracks on your mobile devices.

As has been said, sharepod will be the best method.

Maintains all the tags and stuff.
