Large zoom for some lovely candids?

More memory cards? I could easily fire off 1000+ shots.

White umbrella incase it rains? ;)

Mark has a 70-200L 2.8 if I want/need + more memory cards.

Mark has specifically told me he doesn't want me running off LOADS of shots, it's more for him to go through, he'd rather go through 50 thought out decent shots than 300 rushed/roughly thought out shots. But I can be trigger happy :p

Gonna be 20C tomorrow, no rain :)

Seeing as you are assisting I would say thats waay too much

As a 2nd photographer I would prob stick the 24 - 70 on and leave it on. Marks gonna get most of the best shots at the wider angle but you deffo still want the 17 - 40.

Take waaay more AAs.

loose the extention rings. The lenses you have focus close enough.

Worst thing you can do is carry too much n miss shots whilst changing lens. Seriously do it as you feel but I would armed with a 24 - 70 80% of the time.

Spare camera and a spare wide-normal lens.

EDIT: if you are just assisting then this is less critical I guess.

Hey guys,

Overall it went really well! :) - Was a fantastic day out and such an eye opener to what a Wedding photographer goes through during the day.

I learnt a lot, especially about stepping up my game and getting the shots needed...Mark seemed pleased with what I had shot.

Overall, brilliant day out...and I can't wait to do more, got another on the 1st :)
