Does anyone know why, since converting my BD rips to MKV, they stutter?

Its marginal, but noticeable, certainly to me.

The ripped BDs never stuttered. Its not GFX as it does it with both onboard and dedicated cards. I think it is some sort of codec change I need to make. I use Shark007, etc on Win7 x64

Thanks Bledd, do i need the x86 even with Win7 x64 as I downloaded the MPC-HC x64 one originally

I've got the DX9 thing to stop that annoying error message. It actually seemed to be ok last night once I'd set media browser up to use MPC-HC.

Edit: also, sorry, being dumb. I can't find the last thing....:(

Which thing can't you find?

Tbh, I've never tried the 64bit player (even though my OS is 64bit)

There are two things to download, the dx9 updater from MS and the complete package in 32 or 64..

SVN means the very latest, they basically release a new version every other day, just get the latest one, it's all in english, ignore the russian on the website :)
