No one else disappointed in the visual side? It looks like a low budget 3d nightmare; it's got no style.

New fans might like it but I can't see many players of the original being impressed. An updated version of the original would have been preferable to this in my opinion.

I must admit I was a bit taken aback by the art style, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

I just hope there is a level with reflecting lava in there somewhere. Oh and giant robot beat-em-up'ish boss. lol :D

Finally got around to playing it.

Despite feeling really cartoony, it's brilliant. Well done Konami - in my opinion it sticks very true to the originals and i'm just about to drop the money on the full version.

There's a trial up if anyone wants to demo it.

It's well worth it. Really enjoyed the demo and got it as soon as I completed that. Achievements are well done and help with good replayability of the game. 1200 points yes but enjoyable.
